Do you want to play a critical role in the development of our organization Workshops for Biodiversity?
We are looking for members for our board of directors for the year 2025-2026.
Your role will be to support us in our vision of a world where biodiversity is considered in all decisions. A vision that we are working to achieve through our activities, workshops and tools for raising awareness and integrating biodiversity.

We cannot promote biodiversity without understanding the importance of diversity, so we are looking for profiles of all kinds - do not hesitate to apply.
There are still some skills that would be useful for a young and dynamic organization like ours:
Non-profit governance skills
Fundraising and Grant Writing
Knowledge of pedagogy
Knowledge of biology and/or biodiversity management
Critical thinking regarding the human/nature relationship and the enhancement of biodiversity
Obviously you don't need to have all of these skills - the goal is for each board member to be able to bring a little something to the organization. Our board, just like our organization, is part of a larger ecosystem where everyone has their role to play, so collaboration and partnerships are key for us.
This is a voluntary role, so we are eternally grateful to the people who decide to get involved.
The board of directors meets approximately every 2 months, and some directors sometimes manage projects that allow the organization to better structure itself. We generally meet in person in Montreal, but we are open to hybrid mode. You will not have to be directly involved in the operations of the organization - it is the executive director and the collaborators who take care of this part.
